Nothing beats it for Accuracy, Versatility, Durability, and Affordability

On the market for over 60 years, King 87Brinell hardness testers are lightweight, easy to maneuver and require only one operator, making them ideal for use as portable or bench units. Versatile enough to test virtually any size and shape of metal specimen, these testers are easy to use. The operator simply places the specimen between the anvil and the test head, cranks the test head down onto the specimen, locking the tester in place, closes the pressure release valve, and pumps the hydraulic lever until desired load is reached. The tester applies up to a 3,000 kg load on a 10mm ball, making the required impression, which is available for re-reading at any time. A by-pass valve is automatically activated at the calibrated load, eliminating the chance of overloading. The impression is then read and recorded by the operator using a Brinell microscope such as King's Deep Reading Microscope or their KingScan automatic Brinell microscope. This portable Brinell hardness tester meets all international standards for Brinell testing including ASTM E-110, British Standard #240, Pt.2, Sect.1 and JIS Standards, and is calibrated to 1/2 of 1% of load on equipment traceable to NIST Standards.

https://mettech.ca/products-page/portable-hardness-testing/uci-portable-hardness-tester/

The PHASE II ultrasonic/dynamic portable hardness testers are capable of measuring the surface hardness of a broad variety of metals on flat, round, thin or large surfaces. Unlike the standard Dynamic hardness testers, these "state-of-the-art" portable hardness testers incorporate "Ultrasonic UCI" technology, which enables the hardness testing of very thin and small workpieces, which otherwise could not be tested accurately using a portable device. Non-destructive in it's function, these hardness testers allow for the testing of highly sensitive or finished parts that previously could not be tested in an operational setting. The non-destructive (ndt) feature of these hardness testers allow the operator to accurately test parts without causing physical or structural damage that would normally lead to disposal or refinish of operators part.

The Phase II PHT series of portable hardness testers offers a model that include a dynamic probe for easy, quick hardness testing of parts with a mass greater than 5kg

UCI Hardness Testing Method:

A hardness testing method based on the measurement of the frequency shift of a resonating rod caused by the essentially elastic nature of the finite area of contact between the indenter and the test piece during the penetration. Described as a hardness testing practice using a calibrated instrument by pressing a resonating rod with a Vickers style Diamond indentor with a fixed force against the surface of the part to be tested.

https://mettech.ca/products-page/meiji-techno/stereo-zoom-microscope/

The EMZ8TR-PBH includes the best-selling Meiji EMZ-8TR trinocular zoom stereo microscope body with a 212-mm pole stand and variable-intensity halogen illumination. The primary reason for the EMZ-8TR's success is that all three ports operate simultaneously via the trinocular beam splitter, thereby facilitating on-screen displays (with an appropriate digital camera) while simultaneously viewing through the eyepieces--a useful solution for education, training, and presentation purposes.

The microscope body has a 0.7x-4.5x zoom range, rotates 360º for convenient viewing options, and has a maximum working distance of 104 mm without an auxiliary Barlow lens. Depending on your choice of eyepieces (5x, 10x, 12.5x, 15x, 20x, or 30x), you can achieve magnification ranging from 7x to 135x.

There are dual diopters for convenient focusing of both eyes, and the eyepieces have an interpupillary adjustment range of 54-75 mm to adjust to the distance between your eyes. The base includes a black/white reversible stage plate with two stage clips.

This microscope is also popular for veterinary embryo transfer applications.

These microscopes are manufactured under the strict guidelines established under ISO 9001:2000 Standards. They are sold with Meiji Techno's limited lifetime warranty.

The new Dakota Ultrasonics ZX-3 Wall Thickness Gauge accurately measures wall thickness and the extent of corrosion of all metals, ceramics, glass and most rigid plastics - from only one side!

The Dakota Ultrasonics ZX-3 can be used in a Single Thickness Reading mode or in a Scan mode , where the probe is dragged over a large measuring area. The minimum thickness reading recorded during the "scan" will be displayed.

The Dakota Ultrasonics ZX-3 probe is waterproof and can be submerged in water. The gauge is impact-resistant and environmentally sealed to provide trouble-free operation under the toughest field conditions.

https://mettech.ca/products-page/dakota-ultrasonics/dakota-zx-2-ut-thickness-gauge/

The Dakota Ultrasonics ZX-2 is a fixed velocity thickness gauge. This affordable precision tool requires no special training to operate and is able to measure the thicknesses of common materials from 0.025 to 19.999 inches (0.63 to 500 millimeters) with the appropriate transducer. The standard 5MHz transducer has a range of 0.04 to 6.0" on steel.

The Dakota ZX-2 ultrasonic thickness gauge is ideal for the person that tests a few different materials regularly. Featuring 8 common preset material types and 2 user programmable types, the Dakota ZX-2 ultrasonic thickness gauge is a little more flexible for those users that have a need to measure more than one material type. A simple PC program allows the user to program the Dakota ZX-2 ultrasonic thickness gauge for two additional set material types.

Dakota ZX-2 ultrasonic thickness gauges are packaged in an all metal case, sealed with gaskets to protect them from harsh working environments. This gauge can go anywhere you go while making fast accurate measurements which saves you time and money. Dakota Ultrasonics offers quality gauges that are reliable, innovative and competitively priced with the longest warranty in the business - 5 full years.

The Dakota ZX-2 ultrasonic thickness gauge ships complete with a standard transducer (this transducer can be substituted for another model, please contact us for details), couplant, manual, plastic carrying case, certificate of calibration and AA Batteries.
